Climate change is one of the three pillars where the Campaign for Sustainable Rural Livelihoods (CSRL) has specific interest to strengthen its research, policy and advocacy programme through proactive works from grassroots to global level. Change goal of CSRL’s climate change related campaign works is ‘Effective national climate change plan is in place to ensure equitable climate regime’.
Objectives:
To achieve the change goal of our climate change related campaign works, CSRL has set following specific objectives:
- To contribute with allies globally agreed solutions for mitigation activities from the part of major emitters that avert dangerous climate change impacts.
- To empower poor and vulnerable community and other stakeholders to raise their voices for equitable adaptation policies, compensatory fund and responses.
- To advocate for preferential status to displaced people towards migrating to developed countries.
